Orthopaedic Technology and Innovation Forum -Naples Florida January 2017

At a faculty forum about 5 years ago I first presented my concepts on reinforcing ACL and PCL surgery with extra-articular reconstruction using FiberTape. At the time people in the audience were very sceptical. It was very new. One surgeon who was very well known and respected - Don Johnson - stood up and shot me down, but I am delighted to say that he has since come round and is supportive.

Slowly over the years the technique has become well accepted and there were many surgeons performing demos and talking about their experiences at this meeting.

The event hosts approximately 800 surgeons from all over the globe. There is a relatively small faculty and to be one of the speakers is a great honour.
