James Belsey is doing a PhD under me on the use of allograft bone wedges in osteotomy surgery.

James is a sport scientist and researcher who gained a first class BSc (hons) in Sports Coaching in 2011 from the University of Wolverhampton. He then achieved a master’s degree in International Sports Studies with a grade average of 1.4 from the University of Konstanz, Germany in 2014.
Since starting his PhD, James has also worked as a knee researcher at Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital, and has spent six months with a research group in Luxembourg investigating the biomechanical strength of high tibial osteotomy with different graft materials.
James has had his work presented at multiple international conferences and currently has one publication in the Journal of Experimental Orthopaedics.
